If as the so-called experts say that these people cannot help being
what they are as they are born like it, why does God condemn it so? I am
not going to go into the "scientific" arguments about
homosexuality, that has already been done by those far more competent
than I. I want to look at God's Word on the subject.
The following are no doubt the pages of the Bible that a certain
actor arrogantly declares that he tears out of any Gideon Bible he finds
in hotels. But neither he nor anyone else can nullify the Word of God no
matter how many Bibles they mutilate.
Leviticus 18:22,23 Thou shalt not lie
with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. AV

their own bodies to themselves; because having changed the truth of God
into falsehood, they honoured and used the created contrary to the
intention of the Creator ... In consequence God abandoned them to
shameful passion. For their women perverted the natural use to one
contrary to nature; and in the same way, the men, leaving the natural
use of the women, were inflamed in their lust for one another, men with
men acting scandalously, and receiving in themselves the right
punishment (Aids?)
of their crime. And as they did not
desire to have God acknowledge, God abandoned them to an uninquiring
wind, to practice what is loathsome.

It is very popular today to he homosexual or lesbian, I don't know
about coming out of the closet, they are literally coming out of the
woodwork! Every programme practically has its "token"
homosexual or lesbian, most chat shows are about "shocking
revelations" of one partner, (they don't call them husbands and
wives any more, probably because they are not!) owning up to having a
"gay" relationship behind their partners back! And the
audience cheers and claps and shouts their approval and they call it
entertainment.
Technology abounds today in all areas, look at the mobile phone
plague. There seems to be nothing we cannot, and worse, will not do! We
are so clever we humans, we've walked on the Moon - didn't find God
there and now we are champing at the bit to clone ourselves while we
abort perfectly healthy babies, sometimes simply because it got in the
way of ones sexual appetite. How wonderful we are, we can do anything,
or we will do just as soon as we get the technology. Morals, what are
they? Where did they come from anyway, they just get in the way of what
we humans want to do.
And so it goes on, or does it? Everything God does it timed -
when the time is right or at the appointed time GOD WILL JUDGE US HUMANS
for what we have done and what we have left undone and ought to have
done. Don't believe me if that is your wish, but when the judgement
comes, just don't say no one told you. It is a Christian's
duty to witness to not only the love of God, but to His LAW as well.
1 Peter 3:15 ... Ready at all times to give
a defence to all who assail you concerning the reason of the hope that
is in you, yet with gentleness and respect. FF.
Male and Female He made us in order that we should procreate and fill
the Earth. Male and Female that we may harmonise, when we find our
partners it should be like finding our other half, a completion of who
we are. Indeed many life long husbands and wives often say that when
their partner dies it is like losing half of themselves. These days most
people, if they get married at all, do it with divorce in mind if their
chosen mate lets them down, or they fancy (lust after) some one else.
Marriage is not now considered to be for life as it was intended. People
are far too selfish today.
We are told that homosexuality is only an alternative lifestyle and
should not he condemned. Says who? The doctors? The scientists? The
individual who wants to live that life? Well God says NO! So it is a
choice that one makes, to be homosexual. Whether a conscious choice or
not, you don't have to be homosexual.
Having just watched a well-known chat show on homosexuals, it was
interesting to note that several participants in the show claimed to be
ex-homosexuals. Which shows that this perversion is by choice not
genetic. One minute they are claiming to be homosexuals, sitting next to
their partners, the next they introduce the audience to their new
partners who are of the opposite sex. So, don't tell me to be homosexual
is not by choice! ... Another chat show host is quite convinced one
cannot choose to be homosexual or heterosexual. She has swallowed the
popular "scientific" theory completely, just as most of the
world has been taken in by the evolution theory as if it were proven
fact. Today we are dealing with almost total ignorance of God's Law,
most people assuming, if they know anything about it that is, that it
either only belongs to the Jews or it has been done away with through
Christ's sacrifice and we are in the age of Grace. And this comes from
the established Church, the recognised officialdom of the Christian
faith. The ignorance of the shepherds of Christianity is absolutely
shocking. You won't find other religions behaving in such a cavalier
fashion with the basic tenets of their individual sects or
organisations, so why is the one True religion treated with such
contempt by its own adherent?
I suggest that a lot of it is because, they do not actually believe
God even though they wear the robes and carry the titles of the Church.
They do not actually have the Faith once delivered to the Apostles. They
are too caught up in what is Politically Correct, they are afraid to
stand up for Jesus and what He actually said. And what He said was "Think
not that I have come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I am not come
to destroy but to fulfil, (or complete) For verily I say unto you, Till
heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from
the law, till all be fulfilled." (or
completed). Matt. 5:17,18. This to me shows clearly that not only do
they not have faith but that they do not know their Bibles and do not
believe God.
If they knew God as they ought, they would be able to preach the
truth regarding sodomites (which is the true name of
homosexuals), with the compassion that I believe we should have, as
Jesus had when the woman caught in adultery was brought before Him. His
final words to her were to "Go and sin no
more". John 8:11. No matter how had she had been He
offered her the opportunity to begin a new life in the truth. BUT having
had that chance, she then had no excuse, and at the day of judgement,
she could not say "No one told me."
It is not my purpose or right to condemn these people who, in some
cases sincerely believe it is OK to he homosexual, but as Christians it
is our DUTY to witness to others as to God's law AND His mercy and
justice for all. It is not a choice we have as Christians, if we become
followers of Christ we automatically take on certain responsibilities.
As God's Word tells us if we do not tell the people of their sins, their
blood is on us. Son of man, I have made thee a
watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth,
and give them warning from me. When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt
surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the
wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall
die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thy hand. Yet if
thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his
wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy
soul. Ezekiel 3:17-19. We are still the watchmen of Israel,
as we become Christians we take on that responsibility; to warn, to
instruct and to uplift those with whom we come into contact.
Acts 20:31 Therefore watch, and remember,
that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night
and day with tears.
1 Corinthians 16:13,14 Watch ye, stand fast
in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done
with charity.
2 Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things,
endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy
ministry.
I used to have a colleague who said she was a lesbian, she also
claimed to be a Methodist Christian and inevitably we got around to
discussing this subject. I discovered that she did not accept the Old
Testament, she said she was a New Testament Christian - whatever that
is! At that time, much to my regret, I did not know enough of my Bible
to show her that even in the New Testament Sodomy is condemned, I wish I
had. The fact is it seems that people pick and choose what they want to
accept or discard in the Bible; they keep the nice bits and get rid of
anything that makes them feel bad or dare I say it, guilty.
No one is to feel guilty today, that's bad karma and anyway society is
responsible for the bad stuff not me!
So how do we get anyone to repent of any sin if they cannot see that
they have sinned or understand what sin is? Here again is where the
Church has let the people down. Sodomy is a SIN and can be repented of
and can be forgiven, the Church should be proclaiming this from the roof
tops. There is no such thing as a gay Christian! the two are just
incompatible, God says so!
I don't care what the so-called experts say, the scientists,
if God says it is wrong then it is wrong, We may not fully understand
everything God says and does; but then He is God, we are mere mortals,
His creatures. We must give Him His due and acknowledge Him and the Laws
that He has given us for our well being. I so often hear people say your
faith is personal and that it should not he forced onto others. Well,
forced, no, but we do have to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of
the Kingdom and all that goes with it. Which is not a pie-in-the-sky
faith but a real workable and fulfilling way of life in this world and
the next. And any kingdom worth its salt has laws, God's Kingdom is no
exception.
So, if "modern society" has lead you to be
"confused" about your sexuality, turn to the Lord Jesus Christ
AND HE WILL DELIVER YOU. You may have to work at it, it may suddenly
happen depending on what only the Lord knows you have to learn. But if
you truly want to be delivered from this abomination He will not let you
down.
